Our dried fava-beans soup is prepared with shelled dried broad beans cooked in lightly salted water and flavored with wild fennel. Fava beans, particularly appreciated for being a low-calorie food, have a good content of iron, potassium, magnesium and many vitamins. 

Zicily suggests tasting it alone with accompanied by croutons, as side dish, soup or to use as a sauce-condiment for pasta.
